Model Law
Tuesday, January 1, 2008
Since 2003, 13 U.S. states have considered legislation that would allow workers to sue for damages due to bullying at work, but none has yet passed into law.
This is the text of the Anti-Bullying Healthy Workplace Bill put before the legislature in Connecticut in 2007. The Vermont legislature is expected to be considering similar legislation this month, while New Jersey, New York and Washington are due to consider the matter at some point this year.
