Mary Plunkett

Vice President of Global Talent Management and Development, Carlson

Minneapolis-based hospitality and travel company Carlson has appointed Mary Plunkett as vice president of global talent management and development.

Plunkett is responsible for the talent management strategy, programs and processes for the management of the company's top and high-potential talent. She reports to Elizabeth Bastoni, executive vice president and chief human resources and communications officer.

Plunkett was most recently the global director of people and organizational development at Heineken. With more than 20 years of talent and organizational development experience, she has also held senior leadership positions at Lehman Brothers Holding Inc., BP and Boeing Co.

Plunkett holds a doctorate in organizational psychology, a master's degree in applied experimental psychology and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Saint Louis University.
