In the wake of widespread evidence that American workers are frustrated and stressed, a majority still feel their bosses are easy to work with, according to a nationwide survey of 540 employed Americans. Only 6 percent said their boss was hard to work with.
When asked, "Which of the following best describes the person to whom you report?" they responded:
73% "My boss listens to others and is generally easy to work with."
21% "My boss listens to some people, and is sometimes hard to work with."
6% "My boss never listens to others and is hard to work with."
The survey also found women are slightly more favorable of their boss's behavior than men, reporting 76 percent favorability to 71 percent.
