This note is in response to The Legal Ambiguities of Social Media.
Friday, June 1, 2012
Social media is less about your employees and more about the business. Unless you make a group within a social media site for employees, which would not be public.
You are over complicating social media. It's more about creating an image and serving clients/customers and educating them. Employees on social media are like employees making personal phone calls. It's really that simple. It would be like employees watching TV at work.
Sometimes it's appropriate; sometimes not.
