Executive Director of Human Resources

Theresa M. Ridderhoff has been named executive director of human resources of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops in Washington.

She was previously self-employed as a human resource consultant, working with firms in areas of recruiting, policy and procedure development, organizational development and training. Prior to her consulting work, she spent 18 years at Sallie Mae, where she held the title of senior director of talent management.

Ridderhoff holds a master's degree in instructional technology from George Mason University and a bachelor's degree in marketing from Stonehill College. She holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification and is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management. She also is a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator qualified facilitator.
