The National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling pinpoints safety issues and offers lessons learned and recommendations relative to the disaster.

The 398-page final report, which was dedicated to the workers who died in the accident "in hopes that this report will help minimize the chance of another such disaster ever happening again," was published in January.
