Park Sterling Bank, based in Charlotte, N.C., hired Anne Bryan Hanson as human resources director and executive vice president.
A veteran of the banking industry, Hanson has an extensive history with Wachovia Bank, and in her most recent position there, she led the talent-management program for the retail, corporate, business banking and mortgage sections.
In previous positions, she served as senior human resource manager for the mid-Atlantic region and was human resource manager for the Piedmont Triad region.
Hanson attended Meredith College and completed the Executive Leadership Program at UNC-Chapel Hill.
