Senior Vice President of Human Resources

BrightSource Energy Inc., a developer of solar thermal power plants headquartered in Oakland, Calif., named Lynda Ward Pierce senior vice president of human resources.
Most recently, Pierce served as vice president of human resources at MobiTV, and prior to that role, she oversaw the human resource function at a variety of organizations, includes as head of human resources, facilities and security at SVB Financial Group, vice president of human resources at Organic Inc. and global director of human resources at Navigant Consulting Inc.
Pierce holds a master's degree in human resources and organizational development from the College of Professional Studies at the University of San Francisco and a bachelor's degree in managerial economics from the University of California at Davis.
