Catholic Healthcare West in San Francisco named Herbert "Herb" Vallier as senior vice president and chief human resource officer.
Vallier's most recent role had been as senior vice president of human resources at Denver's 73-hospital Catholic Health Initiatives, and previously he was executive vice president for human resources at Revlon Inc. and director of strategic staffing at Harvard University's office of the president and provost.
Vallier received a bachelor's degree in personnel and labor relations from the University of Maryland University College.
