Chief Service Officer
Dallas-based retail-energy provider Ambit Energy appointed Cynthia Williams Young as chief service officer, which includes oversight of the company's internal and external customer service, internal training, the people department and administration. She reports directly to CEO Jere Thompson Jr.
Prior to joining Ambit, Young spent more than 20 years at Southwest Airlines, most recently as senior director of labor and employee relations communications. She also served as the airline's director of executive office customer services.
Young holds a bachelor's degree in merchandising from the University of North Texas.
