Chicago-based U.S. Cellular Corp. promoted Jeffrey J. Childs to executive vice president and chief human resources officer.
Previously, Childs held the title of senior vice president and chief human resources officer. He has been with the company since 2004. Prior to joining the company, he was a senior partner with Brimstone Consulting Group LLC and he previously worked in the human resources department at Ameritech/SBC.
He holds a bachelors degree from Ball State University and is a graduate of the University of Michigan's Global Leadership program.
