Chicago-based Playboy Enterprises appointed Kendice K. Briggs senior vice president of human resources. She is based in the company's Los Angeles office.

Briggs previously served as senior vice president at Westfield Corp., and prior to that she spent 13 years at Downey Savings and Loan, where she rose to the title of executive vice president of human resources. She began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and moved on to Imperial Thrift and Loan Association.
