Thanks for this article about qualities of courageous HR executives.  The points made are so important to all HR executives and are not always supported by senior management.  I love the take charge attitude and believe this is the only way an HR executive can be successful in their position. 

The balancing act between recruiting, developing, and retaining the best of the best while maintaining the bottom line for the CFO is tricky.  A strong belief in the future of the company and what the HR executive recommends to get there helps senior management envision your path.  The envisioning by senior management creates "buy-in" that begins the journey to success.
