This is in response to Is HR Becoming a Profession?
Monday, May 3, 2010
I'm happy to see Peter addressing this controversial issue. It is not important what jobs someone has had along the way. What is important is their value system and view of the HR function's purpose. As the market intensifies its competitive and global trends it is imperative that HR executives have the same mindset as other functional heads. The only difference should be that HR contributes to business processes and results from the human side rather than from some other discipline.
