The Carlyle Group, a London-based global private equity firm, named Annie Paydar head of human resources for the European and MENA regions.

Prior to the move to London, Paydar previously led HR activities in the firm's New York office after joining the company in 2004. Prior to that, she was part of the HR team with The Blackstone Group.
