Liz Claiborne Inc., a women's clothing company based in New York, named Lisa Piovano Machacek its senior vice president and chief human resources officer. She reports directly to CEO William L. McComb.
Piovano Machacek joined Liz Claiborne Inc. in 1988 as an assistant in product development. She then served as an HR generalist for the company's Dana Buchman brand. Since then she has held a variety of HR positions across the company, most recently as vice president of HR for Partnered Brands.
She received a bachelor's degree in economics and Italian from Fairfield University.
