Wednesday, August 1, 2007
Jury Verdict Research provides an exclusive profile of the top 20 employment-law cases, selected by financial outcome, which were finalized during the past five years. The lawsuits resulted in jury verdicts or settlements ranging from $250 million to $30 million.
The cases include both federal and state actions, and feature a multitude of claims -- sex, age, pregnancy and racial discrimination as well as violations of the whistleblower statutes or Fair Labor Standards Act. Included in the profiles are the primary statutes alleged to be violated, a brief synopsis of the employees' claims, names of the attorneys, court location and other information.
