This year's Honor Roll winners are Bridget Atkinson of GTSI Corp., Barbara Baker of Umpqua Bank, Richard Floersch of McDonald's Corp., Bruce Pfau of KPMG LLP and Eva Sage-Gavin of The Gap Inc.
Since its inception, 44 individuals have been named to the HR Honor Roll.
This year's panel of five judges based their selections on the candidate's ability to handle significant problems in the human resource field, the candidate's role and/or success in establishing the HR function as an integral part of his or her organization, the candidate's management skills as demonstrated within the HR function and the candidate's contributions to the HR profession.
In a change from previous years, the HR Honor Roll competition was divided into two categories this year: Organizations with 7,500 or fewer employees and organizations with more than 7,500 employees.
