The Chief HR Officer role has changed over the past 15 years, gaining increasing respect and expanded responsibilities. Along with that, however, comes increased accountability and complexity.
In The Chief Human Resource Officer: Key Challenges and Strategies for Success, Patrick M. Wright and Christopher J. Collins of the Center for Advanced Human Resource Studies at Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations, present the findings of a two-phased research project they spearheaded.
The research involved the nature of the CHRO role and the themes and challenges implicit in the role.
