New Products Unveiled at Show

The 10th Annual HR Technology ConferenceŽ featured a number of new-product announcements from a variety of vendors. Among them was Workstream, which unveiled TalentCenter 7.0, the latest version of its TalentCenter suite, at a special ceremony at Chicago's River East Art Center the night before the conference.
What's unique about the latest version is that it's the first to incorporate all of the software from the various companies Workstream has acquired over the years into one fully integrated talent-management suite, said Workstream CEO Deepak Gupta.
Gupta said TalentCenter 7.0 is differentiated from other talent-management suites by its globalization capabilities and its focus on pay for performance. "As more and more companies begin building a pay-for-performance culture, they'll turn to their talent-management systems to help them do that," he said.
