NAHR Installs New Fellows

Six HR leaders were installed as Fellows of the National Academy of Human Resources on Thursday evening, November 5, during an induction ceremony at the Yale Club in New York. NAHR Fellows are widely known as leaders in the profession, have national reputations for shaping HR thinking and policy, and demonstrate an unfailing commitment to success.

The National Academy of Human Resources installed its six-member 2009 Class of Fellows at a ceremony on Nov. 5 at the Yale Club in New York.

The Fellows were recognized for their sustained and exemplary contributions to the field of human resources.

The new class members include:

* Kevin Cox, executive vice president of human resources, American Express Co.

* Rich Floersch, executive vice president and chief human resources officer, McDonald's Corp.

* Pam Kimmet, senior vice president of human resources, Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc.

* Brian McNamee, senior vice president of human resources, Amgen Inc.

* Hugh Mitchell, human resources director, Royal Dutch Shell

* Jill Smart, chief human resources officer, Accenture Inc.

Grand sponsors of this year's event included Manpower Inc./Right Management, Spencer Stuart and Towers Perrin.
