Free ATS

Talent acquisition-solutions provider MrTED Ltd. has unveiled the beta version of SmartRecruiters, a free applicant-tracking system for corporate recruiters and hiring managers.

The ATS is designed for businesses with as many as 2,500 employees, and utilizes open architecture, or Open SaaS, that connects users to other recruiters and pay-per-use services such as job posts and background checks.

Embedded features are designed to allow recruiters to tailor the look and feel of SmartRecruiters to match their corporate career Web sites and online application forms. Users can also edit job ads in real time, screen and rate candidates and track history of actions and interactions with candidates.

Seeking Finance Professionals

OneWire > has launched an online career and recruitment-management tool designed to connect finance professionals with the companies seeking to hire them.

The tool is designed to help financial firms directly connect with a pool of relevant candidates for any job based on the firm's search criteria, including: work experience, education and languages spoken. It then creates a connection between the two without revealing any information about the candidates except for how they score against the firm's search criteria, at which point the candidates can choose how and when to reveal their profiles.

Price varies.

Improving Sourcing Effectiveness

Jobs2Web Inc. has unveiled its Jobs2Web RPO 2.0 solution, designed to help recruitment-process outsourcing vendors improve their sourcing effectiveness.

The solution is designed to continuously build interactive talent pipelines and communities through the use of employee referrals, social networks and alumni lists in order to lower the client's cost sourcing, decrease time-to-fill and improve margins for RPO vendors.

The solution is designed to require no IT support and does not require changes to existing recruitment workflows, and it integrates with applicant-tracking systems. Each RPO 2.0 client team also has access to a dedicated Web-based recruitment dashboard and is assigned a designated account manager as well.
