Radio Show #176
Show Date: April 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. PT
Brian Sommer has, as the cliché goes, forgotten more about HR enterprise applications than most people know. He started his involvement 32 years ago, when he joined Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), became a world-wide partner, and ran its Software Intelligence unit.
There, he and former Gartner analyst Jim Holincheck spent their youth banging away first on mainframe HR systems, then on client/server systems actually implemented on Andersen computers.
His focus has continued for the last 13 years at his own firms, TechVentive and Vital Analysis, while blogging for ZDnet. Recently, he joined the stable of elite analysts writing for Diginomica, an online service for enterprise software.
On the show, Brian will examine how the traditional recruiting process is being disrupted; his own take on the “War for Talent”; how companies are changing their attitudes about buying and integrating software, plus new models emerging for Shared Services.
Don't miss this latest interview with one of the most important people in HR and HR technology sharing what he’s thinking, not what he’s selling.
